How do I transcribe a video for free?
Upload the video above and sign in with your email or Google. Videos up to 30 minutes are transcribed in full for free, 3 a day, with no credit card; longer videos get their first 30 minutes free.
Can I transcribe a video from a link?
Not yet: upload the video file itself. Only its audio is sent, so even long videos upload quickly.
How accurate is the transcription?
We use state-of-the-art AI speech recognition. Clear recordings typically come out near-verbatim; heavy background noise, people talking over each other and very strong accents reduce accuracy.
What happens to my files?
Audio is converted in your browser, uploaded only to transcribe it, and deleted as soon as the transcript is ready. You can delete transcripts at any time.
How long can a file be?
Free files can be up to 30 minutes. Paid plans support files up to 10 hours each.
What's the difference between pay-as-you-go and Unlimited?
Pay-as-you-go credits are a one-time purchase that never expires — good for occasional long files. Unlimited is a subscription with no daily file limit, subject to fair use of 100 hours per 30 days.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from your account page; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
